Good luck with your startup! I just want to note that such a station-less bike sharing has existed for years in Germany. It was great and convenient from a customer’s point of view. But obviously didn’t work out economically, as all bike sharing providers in Germany went back to station-based approaches. I don’t know the reasons, but I imagine that the station-less model simply produced too much maintenance costs (picking up broken bikes for repair, transporting bikes back from less frequented areas, …).
If you want some more information about the failed attempts in Germany, let me know! I would also be glad to here, how you tackle or plan to tackle these issues.
Cheers and keep out he great work!
